How to train seasonal staff at scale

Onboard hundreds of seasonal hires across every location in days, not weeks. Build a tight seasonal course, bulk-assign, and verify completion before peak.

30 min

Step-by-step

  1. Build a tight seasonal course

Upload your seasonal SOP plus the role-specific procedures most relevant to peak (POS speed, queue management, safety, brand greetings). Aristotl generates a 30-minute course - short enough that a seasonal hire finishes before their first shift. Trim modules ruthlessly; seasonal staff don't need brand history. Approve and publish.

  2. Bulk-import the seasonal roster

From People, click 'Bulk import' and paste a CSV with name, email, location, and role for every seasonal hire. Aristotl creates accounts and triggers welcome emails. Each franchise manager gets a roster preview to verify before send. For 500 hires across 80 locations, this takes under 5 minutes - versus days of per-location account setup in a generic LMS.

  3. Auto-assign with peak-aligned deadlines

Assign the seasonal course to the imported cohort with a deadline tied to peak start (e.g. 'must complete by July 1'). Aristotl handles the per-learner translation and reminder schedule automatically: nudge mid-window, escalate late-window, alert the manager before the deadline. Peak-aligned deadlines protect the operations side from undertrained staff hitting the floor.

  4. Verify completion before peak

Open the cohort dashboard 48 hours before peak. You'll see exactly which seasonal hires across which locations have not yet completed. Push final reminders, escalate blockers to franchise managers, and pull the at-risk list. Locations that don't hit completion targets get a flag in your peak-readiness export - operational leadership can intervene before the volume hits.
