Instructional Design

The systematic process of designing, developing, and delivering instructional materials and experiences to facilitate effective learning.

Instructional Design (ID) is both an art and science that applies learning theory and pedagogical principles to create effective educational experiences. Instructional designers use models like ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), SAM (Successive Approximation Model), or agile approaches to structure their work. Modern ID increasingly incorporates learner-centered design, accessibility considerations, and data-driven optimization. AI tools are now augmenting instructional designers by automating content creation and personalizing learning paths.
